  Great service, friendly people. Publican is personable and informative, food is nice and affordable. Highly recommend popping in and checking out the springs while you're there.

  After a few weeks travelling around North Queensland, I can honestly say this was our least favorite Pub of all! After an afternoon enjoying the hot springs, which were fantastic, we decided to drop in to the nearby Innot Hot Springs Hotel/ Motel. The time was approximately 5.30pm, and we hoped to enjoy some cold drinks and hot chips, before travelling further to the Atherton Tablelands. From the moment we walked in, this place was a let down. When we tried to order our drinks and chips, we were told that it was the policy that bar food, such as hot chips or wedges, can only be ordered with two main meals. We politely told the lady who served us that we had dinner plans in Ravenshoe with friends, but would love to have a serve of chips, if possible, to enjoy with our drinks outside. The woman, very rudely, told us that the venue was "not a takeaway" and if that's what we wanted we might as well leave and go to McDonald's.The response seemed extremely uncalled for, rude, and out of place with a country pub. The chips in question were priced at $11, plus a $2 eftpos surcharge which we were more than willing to pay. In my opinion, a $13 custom on hot chips, plus beers, is surely not deserving of being talked down to in the way we were and turned away. Overall, we were extremely unhappy with the service and attitude of the woman we dealt with, and wished we had never stopped by.
